Before her first apo was born, Evelyn Ebing Abueva-Olarte was having mixed feelings about being a first-time lola. This is clearly shown in the first photo below. After a few days, Ebing is now a doting lola to Eliana Solon Olarte.

Shawn Andrew - palanggang apo of Lorna & Monching

Meet Shawn Andrew (Andot), palanggang apo of Kabatch Lorna Calderon & Monching Trespeces. Andot's parents are the kids of Lorna & Monching. He's a jolly friendly kid who loves puto. Lorna says Andot is fond of tinkering with the computer (he loves watching Youtube online) and other electronic thingies.

Alexandra Fae - Doods and Melba's first palanggang apo

Doting Lolo Doods and Lola Melba Absin gave Baby Alexandra Fae a grand first birthday celebration on June 27. At first she was shy in facing her guests but later got into the groove and gamely posed for the cameras. :)

3rd (for Rico Elemia III) is the super kulit palanggang apo of Gilda Bantawig-Elemia. Being Lola Gilda's boy, 3rd makes kulit to his lola wherever and whenever he wants. Lola Gilda loves 3rd to death and it's easy to see why. :)

Baby Shawn James Tan Yu

Baby Shawn James just turned 1 last April. He is my apo through my brother Napoleon's daughter (so technically, nakiki-apo lang ako. hahaha!). He's just starting to walk and we are frantic whenever he falls. I'm still trying to teach him to call me Titolo (Tito/Lolo). My first apo is in Camarines Sur; Baby Shawn James is the second and a third apo is on the way.
